Classes run for 8-10 weeks per term, 4 terms per year.

To enrol, call in at our office between 9:30am and 3:00pm (Mon to Friday) or complete our online Enrolment/Registration Form.  Alternatively there is an Enrolment/Registration Form you can download, print out and send to us. Enrolments for all but computer classes are onging and can be made at any time during a term.

A deposit of $20 is needed on booking to ensure a place in a class. The remainder can be paid by credit card (in the office or over the phone - 1.5% bank charge applies), by EFTPOS, cash or cheque (in the office) or by bank transfer (ring office for details) and needs to be made prior to commencement of the class.  Classes will fill quickly and bookings are essential!

yoga

Chairs, blankets and a welcoming space are all provided. Meditation workshops are a great way to experience meditation and learn about the benefits of quieting your mind in a supportive and welcoming environment. The workshops are open to everyone interested in meditation regardless of experience. You will learn how to develop breathing for relaxation and mindfulness, how to quiet those nagging and unhelpful thoughts, and how to create a quiet space at home to continue the benefits of meditation beyond the workshop.

If you bring a cup and a gold coin you are welcome to stay for a cup of tea and chat with others at the Neighbourhood House.

Please register your interest with our office by providing your name and email address and the teacher will send out a confirmation email on the Thursday or Friday before the workshop.

When: 4th Saturday at 10am.
Cost: $10 per person.

Yoga workshops are a great way to experience yoga and meet wonderful people in your community. The workshops are suited to most abilities, exploring a range of yoga postures to increase mobility and flexibility while connecting with your inner self and enhancing awareness. Chairs, mats and supports will be provided.

self massageLearn basic self-massage techniques to revitalize, relax, soothe aching muscles, relieve tension and improve your general wellbeing. Socialise and enjoy yourself in a friendly environment.

yoga-classA mix of pilates, yoga and general fitness activities to keep your mind and body healthy. A down to earth class with plenty of giggles.

When: Tuesdays at 7:45pm - 8:45pm
Cost: $20 per class ($15 concession)

laughter Yoga 2

A complete wellness workout and exercise routine. Breathing disciplines and laughter exercises to relax the body, reduce stress and anxiety and encourage positive thinking. Suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

When you play and laugh with abandon, you enter into the present moment, which is the only place where you can experience happiness. Laughter Yoga can help you find this playfulness again and you will experience the many health benefits.

Laughter Yoga is joyful, fun and a great stress buster, leaving participants feeling relaxed and able to brighten up their own lives. Medical science has known for ages that laughter can help resolve stress and many related health issues. Laughter is a holistic wellbeing workout for body, mind and soul. It is effective medicine without side effects and a great supplement to stay healthy and happy

fun-fitness-classSuitable for men and women who haven't exercised for a while.  A fun filled slow & gentle exercise class to music to revitalise the whole body.  Your will feel energised, with Improved circulation and flexibility.  Suitable for all ages and abilities.

When: Wednesdays
Time: 9:30am - 10:30am
Cost: $110 (10 weeks Terms 4 & 4) or $15 trial class

Walk-Group-1Make new friends while keeping active and healthy. Take a leisurely walk within Gresswell Forest and surrounding neighbourhood.

When: Mondays
Time: 10:00am - 10:45am
